Effective Date: December 23, 2025
Averyn Care LLC (“Averyn,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and safeguard information when you use our non-clinical administrative coordination services (“Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use.
Terminology: In this Privacy Policy, the “Supported Person” is the individual whose care-related logistics and administrative tasks are being coordinated (which may be you).
This Privacy Policy applies to all websites, applications, subdomains, APIs, and other online properties owned, operated, or maintained by Averyn Care LLC, including but not limited to averyncare.com, averyn.app, averynone.com, api.averyn.app, and any future domains or services that display or link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Averyn Properties”). By using any Averyn Property, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy works together with the Averyn Care Terms of Use.
We may collect personal information including:
Payment card information is processed by secure third-party processors. Averyn does not store complete payment card numbers.
Averyn collects administrative information to support coordination, including:
Averyn relies entirely on the accuracy of information disclosed by the Supported Person or family and does not detect concealed or misrepresented information.
We may collect:
On certain pages we may embed or link to third-party tools such as secure forms providers, payment processors, or anti-spam services (for example, Tally.so, Google reCAPTCHA, or Stripe). Those providers may set their own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with the embedded content.
Averyn uses information solely for non-clinical administrative coordination, including:
Averyn may update provider or vendor records with an Averyn-managed administrative email or phone number for coordination. This does not replace clinical or emergency contact details.
We use information to send reminders, coordination updates, account notices, and responses to Supported Person or caregiver inquiries, and to relay non-clinical questions or concerns reported by the Supported Person to providers when authorized.
Text messages (SMS/MMS): With your consent or as permitted by law, Averyn may contact you using text messages for non-clinical administrative coordination purposes, such as confirming appointments, clarifying logistics, sending invitations to join an Averyn household, or following up on forms. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Message frequency varies based on your activity and service tier.
SMS consent and controls:
Opting out may limit our ability to provide certain features that rely on text messaging (for example, time-sensitive reminders or coordination updates), though we may still send messages necessary for account security, legal notices, or service-related confirmations.
SMS and carrier registration: Averyn may register its brand and messaging use cases with telecommunications providers and participating carriers (including through platforms such as RingCentral) and, as part of that process, may provide or cite this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
Mobile data and SMS opt-in privacy: We do not sell personal information. We do not share SMS opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We use information for documentation, internal review, training, quality assurance, fraud prevention, security, and auditing.
Averyn may use automated tools to support administrative tasks such as extracting information, organizing documents, generating drafts, or suggesting follow-up tasks. Outputs are reviewed by human staff and are not used for diagnosis or clinical interpretation.
Averyn may ask whether the Supported Person is taking medications, experiencing difficulties, or noticing new symptoms solely for administrative coordination. This information may be relayed to providers exactly as reported. Averyn does not evaluate the clinical significance of adherence patterns or symptoms.
Averyn shares information only when necessary to perform authorized coordination tasks or to comply with law.
With authorization, Averyn may access and share administrative information with providers, hospitals, therapy services, pharmacies, Medicare, and commercial insurers. We do not modify clinical records or interpret clinical data.
Averyn may relay questions or concerns reported by the Supported Person to providers exactly as described. Averyn does not determine urgency, interpret symptoms, or provide clinical advice.
Averyn is not a mandated reporter. Healthcare providers may independently escalate concerns or report to protective agencies based on information shared.
Averyn does not monitor for emergencies or provide triage. In rare circumstances where an immediate safety concern is disclosed, Averyn may advise the family to call 911 or may contact emergency services as a courtesy. This does not create any duty to monitor, evaluate, or prevent emergencies.
Averyn may coordinate with transportation, pharmacy, meal services, housekeeping, lawn care, and home-support vendors and may share minimum necessary information such as mobility needs, dietary restrictions, and scheduling preferences. Averyn is not responsible for vendor performance, safety, timeliness, or outcomes.
Averyn may assist in ordering non-prescription supplies upon request. Averyn does not store payment card data and is not responsible for product availability, quality, or delivery performance.
Averyn may coordinate with convenience-based partners such as pharmacies or home-support services, and may receive referral fees or administrative credits. Averyn is not responsible for identifying the lowest-cost provider or endorsing clinical appropriateness.
Averyn may process and transcribe visit recordings you provide, including those from the Averyn Care app or Averyn-branded devices. These recordings are not part of the provider’s medical record and should not be relied upon when conflicting with provider documentation. Averyn does not guarantee transcription accuracy. Recordings are deleted after transcription unless retention is required by law.
Users are solely responsible for complying with all state recording laws and provider/facility policies governing recordings.
When Supported Persons or authorized representatives provide login credentials to portals including provider, Medicare, insurance, pharmacy, transportation, or service-provider portals, Averyn may use such credentials solely to perform authorized administrative tasks. Averyn will attempt to establish delegated or proxy access where possible.
Third-party portals may require acceptance of Terms of Service or Privacy Policies before access is allowed. Averyn may acknowledge these terms solely to access administrative information and does not review, interpret, evaluate, or monitor such terms. Supported Persons and authorized representatives remain fully responsible for understanding and evaluating all third-party terms and policies.
Averyn uses third-party providers (“subprocessors”) to host and operate our applications and communication channels, including but not limited to:
These subprocessors are permitted to access information only as needed to perform services on Averyn’s behalf, under appropriate contractual safeguards. Averyn does not sell personal information.
If Averyn undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring, asset transfer, or transition to a successor entity, user information may be transferred. The successor will honor the commitments in this Privacy Policy unless otherwise required by law.
Averyn and its subprocessors may use cookies, local storage, session identifiers, tracking pixels, and analytics tools to support functionality, security, and performance on averyncare.com, averyn.app, api.averyn.app, and related domains.
Examples include:
Where required by law, we will seek your consent before setting non-essential cookies or similar technologies. In many cases, cookies used on Averyn Properties are strictly necessary for security, authentication, or to provide requested Services, and disabling them may limit functionality. Averyn does not use cookies for third-party targeted advertising and does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
Averyn may access third-party portals using delegated access, proxy access, or credentials provided by the Supported Person or authorized representative. Where proxy or delegated access is not available, and with explicit authorization, Averyn may securely store and manage portal credentials provided by the Supported Person or authorized representative using enterprise-grade password management tools, solely to facilitate authorized administrative coordination. Averyn does not impersonate Supported Persons, modify clinical records, or enter clinical information. Credentials are encrypted or used only as needed to perform coordination tasks.
Averyn may record or transcribe calls, voicemails, virtual meetings, and certain provider communications where permitted. These recordings and transcripts are used for documentation, audit support, quality assurance, and administrative processing. De-identified transcripts may be used to improve internal tools and workflows.
Averyn may transform information into de-identified or aggregated formats. Once de-identified, data is no longer considered personal information, cannot be deleted, and may be used for analytics, operational modeling, research, and internal tool development.
Averyn retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Services, maintain coordination history, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, support audits, and enforce agreements. Averyn generally retains data for at least seven (7) years and may retain it longer where permitted.
Users may request deletion of eligible information. Averyn will comply with deletion requests to the extent required by law, subject to exceptions including legal compliance, billing or documentation needs, fraud prevention, legitimate business interests, and information already de-identified.
Averyn Services are available only for Supported Persons located within the United States.
Services are primarily provided in English. Some content may not be available in other languages. Translation services may be offered through third-party vendors at additional cost. Translation accuracy is not guaranteed, and English-language provider instructions control.
Depending on your state, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, obtaining copies of your information, restricting processing activities, or appealing certain decisions. Averyn does not sell personal information.
Averyn collects only administrative health-related data voluntarily provided. Washington residents may request access, deletion, withdrawal of consent, and explanations regarding data use, subject to applicable exceptions.
Averyn does not sell personal information.
Averyn uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption, authenticated access, secure hosting, logging, and periodic review. Credentials and other sensitive access information, where stored, are encrypted, access-restricted, and managed using least-privilege principles. No system guarantees absolute security.
The Services are intended for adults. Averyn does not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If such information is discovered, it will be deleted.
Averyn may update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When updated, the Effective Date will be revised, and we may provide additional notice when required by law. The most current version is always available at https://averyncare.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. Except where prohibited by law, updates apply to all information we maintain, including information collected before the update.
